A quick correction I missed in my original, The rigid frame was actually '57 not a 47 :-)
Thought would add a pic of 'Ol Blue. And yes, I regret selling it, but had a daughter on the way and was starting to do some pretty stupid gunk, and made the choice of wanting to watch her grow up :-) And added a cpl shots of a a cpl items made to spice up the JYD I program, draw and run a flatbed router, which can come in handy :-)
Have been from Jacksonville to San Diego, and back, and then back to San Diego while 'Ol Blue was still a swingarm, and then from San Diego to East Tx and back on the rigid. Was more comfortable on the rigid than the swingarm though. For me was like riding in an easy chair. The 13" sprung seat helped of course LOL
Already Had to replace the belt in the JYD, it popped, and found out the hot lead from the bat to the solenoid was not real tight, and caused issues. Ended up replacing both. And make sure your electrical connections are TIGHT :-)
The JYD has had some mods done along the way as well, she now has a new paughco frame, STD cases, S&S offset flywheels, and a 440 cam, and added a 2 over wide glide front end. Looking forward to some great rides with her!!
Thanks for all the welcomes!!
