Hi all, newbie from Cornwall, U.K.
Just purchased a 48 Special in black with stage 1 fitted, it was delivered last evening and as yet haven't been out on it due to getting my insurance sorted out, which is all good now, so planning a ride any minute now. I'm what is known as an O.A.P. here in the U.K. been retired 2-years now from being a plumber & heating engineer, have to say i don't miss it one bit...
This is not my first Harley, I had a FXD Twincam back nearly 20-years ago, followed by a V-Rod in 09 and a Buell in 2015, I was contemplating a Heritage Softail a few months back from a friend who had it stored in his garage unused for the past 9-years, as I'm retired he asked me to get it sorted for him and sell it once it was up and running with a new m.o.t., unfortunately at my age I found the bike just to heavy for me to manoeuvre around which one has to do from time to time, so decided on a 48 which I have to say I have really liked the look of for some time now. Will try to get some pics up soon.
