Hey everybody.

Just let me say that your forum saved me from making a $20,000+ mistake. I was ready to purchase an '07 Ultra but, thankfully, I checked out the issues posted by some of your members regarding the tranny, engine, heat, primary etc. problems with these '07 bikes and I cancelled the purchase. Can't say the sales guy was really surprised! I would think that after 104 years of building bikes the MoCo would have a clue. Guess not!

I'm waiting for the '08's to come out to see if there has been any improvments to the design. I'm not very hopeful though.

Thank you again for your continuing service to the riding community!

John

welcome!

have you thought of older bikes? I can't say enough good things about my 94 evo's performance and reliability! It just never has issues (that I don't cause myself)

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Yes, I have pretty much decided to go with an '05 or earlier. LOTS of really fine rides out there at very reasonable prices.

I live in Boulder CO and have owned several Harleys. Last was an '03 FLHR. Loved it but couldn't afford the payments at the time.

I'm seriously considering a dead-stock '76 FLH Bicentennial Edition with low miles right now. LOVE those Shovels! And NO electronics at all!

Best wishes to you all,

John
