New to Harley... Jumped RIGHT in!
Hey Folks! I've ridden many bikes for many years - all big sport and sport-touring models from Japan. Then came a l-o-o-o-n-n-n-g break (30 years). Been thinking about getting "back in the saddle" for some time now and knew when the time came it would be a Harley Street Glide. I'l be the first to admit I have been apprehensive about jumping on a big, heavy bike after so long.
I walked into my local dealer with the intent of taking advantage of the Sportster buy-back program, figuring I'd reacclimate myself over the season on a smaller ride and then "go big" next year. Unfortunately, this was sitting there and my whole plan went to hell.
120 miles in so far and so happy with my ride! Getting up to speed quickly and looking forward to learning from the experience and insights of folks here.
