New Geezer from Northern VA!
Hello, All!
I've had my new 2007 Street Glide for almost 2 months now. I've never ridden before, and thought I was too old! (50+) That was until I ran into a bunch of guys at a local HD dealership that made me feel young!
I work at the Pentagon and watched Rolling Thunder as a bystander last year, but made the decision then and there that I'd ride in it in 2007. I went through the HD Riders Edge course (great!), then (finally) got my bike at the end of April.
I made the Rolling Thunder ride this year and it was definitely a memorable and moving experience.
I have a lot to learn and I've been both practicing with the "Ride Like a Pro" exercises and commuting to work a lot. I figure the crazy DC morning commute traffic is sort of like the graduate school of motorcycle traffic education....
I've been reading this forum for a few weeks and I appreciate the knowledge and experience everyone contributes.
Thanks to everyone!
Nick
