Another new guy on the block
Greetings.... I've spent a ton of time on HD Forums since last winter, and decided that it's high time for me to register as a member. I haven't done so until now as I'm more a listener than a ******. You can learn a lot from those with much experience.
I first came to these forums to do some research prior to buying a used HD touring bike. It really helped in making a decision as to which would be best for me. Last February I bought a brandy new 2017 Road King in Vivid Black. Aside from all the other benefits, I learned that a Road King makes you look ten years younger,,, and Vivid Black goes way faster. (LOL). But seriously, I absolutely love my RK. I managed to put 16,000 Km on it (local day trips) from the end of March until putting it away for winter towards the end of October.
Now, with a ton of snow still on the ground, I'm still on theses forums researching options on Stage II. However, with that in mind, I'm still sitting on the fence warranty-wise. Lots to ponder, but I'm going to have to decide one of these days.
A huge "THANKS" to all who have contributed so much helpful and experienced information and advice here. Much appreciated.
