Welcome from NC! I recently switched to HD from Stryker. Was seriously considering Raider, but always wanted a Harley so I decided to get one. Ride 2013 Road King now and love it. Breakout is in my favorites as well, test rode it few times. Perhaps one day...

Hey! I actually had a Stryker, and then a Raider. BIG Difference! Don't get me wrong, they are both great bikes, and the Raider is much faster than people realize. It pulls HARD. I Honestly always liked Harleys, but never wanted to pay up for one. My Stryker was $11K and my Raider was $16k - Like I was saying, I never had anything against Harley, I'm not a brand fanboy, but one day I was walking through an HD Dealer because my wife was getting a CanAm, and I spotted the '16 CVO Breakout, and it sunk its teeth into me hard! now, as I said, not being a fanboy, I can still honestly say that although the performance, comfort and styling of the Raider is every bit as good as any Harley I've seen, the QUALITY of the Harley, is much better. At least as far as the CVO goes. I'm in the process of closing on the CVO Streetglide now though, because the Breakout kills my back on long rides. I ride about 10-15K miles a year, which isn't alot to guys in California or Florida, but in CT that's a ton. we only get about 6 good riding months here at best. Unfortunately I will be keeping the Breakout, because it just didn't hold its value. HD didn't sell all their new ones and the market is flooded with used ones, so it depreciated about 40% in a year and a half. I'm not up-side-down on it, but its worth more to me than they are getting in re-sale. CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY CVO SG HOME!!!!

That's the exact reason why I pulled a trigger on that Road King. Ride comfort was my major requirement as I commute to work on the interstate for about 35 minutes one way. All I can say Road King is a Mercedes comparing to Stryker. I liked my Stryker but got addicted to the torque feeling on HDs and Indians. I could keep investing into my Stryker and get flash done, pulley swap, all that stuff, but then I asked myself what I really want. Went to a Harley dealership on the demo truck day, rode 7 bikes and saw that 13' Road King with 1900 miles on it, was able to knock a couple of grands off the price and got a deal.
Local powersports dealer didn't let me to test-ride the Raider, so I wasn't sure about it. And yes, build quality is incomparable. And it feels like you become a member of a bigger club I simply get more waves now, lol.
I want Breakout as my around-the-town bike. I just love that style of bikes!
Welcome aboard, ride a lot and be safe!
