Greetings everyone! My name is David, and not only did I just buy my first Harley, but its also the first time I have ever been on a bike!
Passed my permit test and working on getting into the MSF. I am lucky to live in a quiet neighborhood (of course, until I fire up the bike) and am taking it VERY SLOW!!!
I bought a 2005 Sportster XL 883 Custom that, so far, has been a blast to ride. ATGATT all the way, and all of my brothers-in-law have been riding for years and have been giving me lots of advice.
Looking forward to hanging out here and learning from my new brothers and sisters.
Welcome from a fellow new member to the forums and to owning a Harley-Davidson as well. I bought the Sportster Iron recently, so I know what you mean by enjoying the ride.
I completed the MSF course last month too. Despite riding on a permit for years I learned A LOT!
