Old Motorcycle Rider
Haven't ridden since '77 or '78, that on a nearly new BMW (sorry), before that was in high school grad '63 on Jap 2-cycle ones, owned an old HD 165cc 2-cycle, $50 + $50 generator by another HD 74" rider, mine in poor shape, rode for 12 mos including winter, until generator quit and needed more work, Jackson, MS dealer had no parts, wasn't willing to fix it and so gave it away, don't know who that was in about 1950-61.
Crippled legs now, arachnoiditis, look at that painful mess on wiki, can't handle a 2 wheeler and don't want a sidecar or 3 wheeler.
Have 2 cousins and a friend with mostly new soft tail bikes with Evo engines, their talk re miles/bike (70k+), maintenance, listen for noise, repairs and hear from one of their travels to CO mountains each year and on FB, and in between, others elsewhere local or to work.
