Well Mathew you are going to learn that H-D screws up
Your oil leak is the Trans seal ( if you have a 5sp ) The 5 speed the 1st year for '80 H-D left off a vent , so build up heat and presser and out the seal your oil goes onto your chain . H-D 's fix -- is to leave the dipstick finger loose ( who's the dipstick here ) do not put a seal around the dipstick nut
