That's great, thanks for the reception.
In the spirit of sharing something I recently "learned" the hard way because I made an assumption (yup, made an *** out of me....not saying you) and didn't read the manual first......
Installing a 21 in mag on my 2007 Roadie, and after learning a lot about pulling 3/4 inch bearings and installing the 1 inch bearings, media blasting, powder coating and the such, during the reassembly, the caliper that is stamped RIGHT goes on the LEFT side, yup......who knew right?!?! I was looking up the torque spec on the axle nut in my manual and ran across that little gem. Also learned about leading and tailing rotor direction and rotor alignment (that I luckily had right). Needless to say, I started doing more research and found the answers for that logical situation here on the forums......decided I should join and at least use this as a second reference to back up what I should have ALREADY found in my manual.....I get that now.
Glad to be on board. Researching how to figure wheel spacing now as there are differences in the hubs between the "new to me" rim and the stock one that I removed, so stock wheel spacers no longer work. Doing my homework and this site is helping.
Thanks again all.
