New Sportster member
Just checking in. Always looking for info and advice from people who are more experienced than me, which includes about everyone.
Just bought my first bike in 30 yrs. 2006 1200 custom. I'm 5'6'', and just plan on buzzing around town so i figure a Sportster is plenty bike for me. At 62, i'm over the ego thing and as a matter of fact, bought the bike off a woman.
Prior bikes were a 57 pan head in the 70s and a 60 pan in the 80s, so it's been awhile. Plan on lowering front and back over the winter and have read plenty on the subject. Looking forward to learning from this forum.
