Howdy from Sydney
Hi all from Sydney!
I've been riding a basically stock 1994 FXDS as a daily driver since 2010.
Only mods are a Mikuni and mufflers. I tend to change bars, seats & guards (fenders) here and there depending on mood but it usually ends up back in stock configuration every now and then.
This is how it currently sits:
It has an FLH rear guard, Lucas tail light and aftermarket bullet indicators. The front guard has also been lowered. Mini apes (off a Sporty I think) on 4" risers.
This was it about 2 or weeks ago with a new sissy bar I made out of scrap steel:
Original tinware & bars with bare bones seat...
And, since I'm sure we all love photos (I know I do) here's a couple of my other 2 bikes - A 1972 Triumph Tiger chop and a 1971 Triumph Bonneville with a '73 T140V installed. Unfortunately they are both still at the project stage although I tried to rego the bonny but the frame # is too hard to read and although it's a seemingly simple fix, it turns out to be harder than I expected (long story)... hence I'm currently looking for a 71 or 72 Bonny frame with Australian rego history.
This is how it currently sits although I have changed the bars to BSA Firebird bars.
This is how it looked with a peanut tank.
This is the chopper. I've had this since 2010 as well but decided on a rebuild in 2011. A 60mph crash on the Dyna meant that the project was shelved due to funds and lack of functioning shoulder for most of a year.
The chopper runs a '73 TR6RV with a Hunt maggy, 16" rear wheel, 6" stretch & 2" drop. The front is also raked.
Plans include a King/Queen seat, beer barrel style oil tank (even though it's an OIF) and a sissy bar.
