Default late intro

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on the forum for a few months. 1st time harley owner 04 standard. Living in Austin Tx.
occupation MRI Tech. I have pictures of the bike in my photo gallery (JW). Nothing fancy just a few changes, seat, heritage bars, sissy bar and rack. It has a stage one upgrade with plans in November to bump out to a 95ci with a T37G cam and stage 1 head work. I do want to express my thanks to this forum. I know jack about harleys and this forum has been a great resource of information.

JW

thanks Ice, I'm pretty impressed with the forum. I'm really enjoying the bike, its one of the few things the wife and I actually enjoy doing together. heh insert joke here. the co. I work for has an office up in Minniesnowta somewhere. We just moved down here from NE Texas. Not sure which I'm pissed more about waiting to move to Austin or waiting to buy a bike.

Welcome to da joint, JW. Where from up here in East Texas? (Austin is a dirty word almost everywhere in Texas! Too many weirdos, lawyers, and law-makers!))

Hey Skip,

We lived in Longview for about 20 years. I used to work at the horsepital in Marshall.
While it's true Austin has way too many yuppie types here, theres still enough headnecks round here to make it a really cool place. One of the coolest things about Austin I noticed at a concert folks from 18 to 80 years old all hangin out and having a great time. You can walk up to anyone here and just start talking to them. They dont look at ya like your about to rob them or judge ya by the way ya look. As for weirdo's like I said I lived in Longview for 20 years LMAO. No shortage of those types pretty much anywhere ya go. Ya see alot working the ER. Thanks for the welcome. and NE Texas is a beautiful place to ride, just keep an eye peeled for those pulpwood trucks.
