Hi all,
3 years ago I started shopping for a motorcycle after not riding for 30 years (I rode a Yamaha Enduro as a young teenager). Everyone and their brother told me I'd get bored of it, get killed on it, or just plain get scared to death riding in traffic.
After six months of looking at every dealership in the area I bought a used, low mileage 2012 Sportster XL1200C. I was immediately hooked on riding and rode that bike every chance I got.
Six months ago I bought a second bike - a low mileage 2013 Switchback. Love that bike as well. I couldn't part with the Sportster so now I have two Harleys (my wife occasionally rides the Sportster).
What do I like about my Harleys?
- Quality, American made
- Classic American style
- The Harley culture - unapologetically big, loud, and all American
(Did I mention American?)
What do I like about riding?
-Absolutely more fun than I ever thought it would be
-Motorcyclists are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet
Have fun and keep the rubber side down!
