Hello from Baltimore
Hello all,
My name is Scott. I purchased my first bike, Labor day weekend. It is a used 2015 Iron 883. It came with Vance & Hines Short Shots, stage I AC, and forward controls. I love it and ride as much as I can! It had 940 miles on it when I purchased it. It now has around 2600 miles.
It is so much fun! I have been doing some modifications. I installed passenger pegs and pillion, I installed a FuelPak3 (made a world of difference over stock). Last Saturday I installed the mini apes and longer cables (I love the new riding position). Yesterday, I received a pair of RK air shocks, 20-minutes later I was testing them out, riding down the road with a BIG smile on my face (people probably thought I was mental ).
I ordered a sissy bar so the wife will feel more comfortable and not worrying about sliding off. I took her for her very first bike ride last Sunday. She had a lot of fun but, she said that she was worried about sliding off. I assured her that she will not slide off. I told her that I would get a sissy bar. She told me that she will definitely ride again with or without the bar.
I will get my signature and other fourm stuff set up soon.
RIDE ON!
