Thanks guys,
I'm in the Mid-Hudson Valley, a great place to ride. Quick access to the Catskill Mountains and Shawangunks, a sort ride to the Taconics, Berkshires, Hudson Highlands, western Massachusetts and Connecticut, Delaware Water Gap, and not far from the Adirondacks and Green Mountains in Vermont. I can be in New Hampshire and the Whites in a day. I can't complain.
I've been through Tennessee a few times, riding the Natchez Trace through Mississippi to Nashville, and the Blue Ridge up and down a few times, through the Smokies, the Cherohala, and the Dragon a few times. I spent a week in Gatlinburg once, I must admit too commercial for me, and a week or so in Knoxville, which I enjoyed a lot.
Cheers,
Doc V
