Default California dream come true

Finally got my Harley. She's a beaut. 2013 Road Glide Custom, Big Blue Pearl. Got 'er used at 19000 miles, she just turned "20" on my first long ride with my club. Handles great on both freeway and twisties. Mountains to coast - she's my California dream come true.

Adding parts to make her my own. Will post photos of a mod I designed to add a CB antenna - had to build a bracket but it is an easy mod if you want an aftermarket (mine is a Firestik) to mirror the am/fm antenna. PM me soon for more info.

Here is the CB antenna mod: Firestik CB antenna (3 foot) with two Firestik brackets combined:
-Mirror mount K-6 http://www.firestik.com/CatalogFrame.htm
-Widget tilt plate WTP-4 http://www.firestik.com/CatalogFrame.htm

I mounted the widget onto the mirror mount, used lots of loctite and it fits perfectly on my 2013 Road Glide Custom stock saddlebag support rail. The angle mirrors the am/fm antenna angle perfectly. I then cut the solid rubber stopper on the filler strip into a "grommet" and I have a CB antenna that works.

The next problem to solve is: I'm adding saddlebag guard and rails, which requires a different support rail. Looks like my "fix" will have to be modified. But for those with stock supports, this is the solution.
