Just bought a new 06 HD Sportster 1200R about three weeks ago. What a blast! I ride every chance I get. Saving me plenty of money on gas (ride to work and back). Made a lot of new friends at work. I did not realize how many people ride HD'S! This is the best forum that I have found. I am from San Antonio Tx, so I still have a few months to ride before it gets to cold.

I drove a Sporty for alot of years and recently moved up to a Dyna Super Glide
Have a Blast, enjoy the ride and if you ever get up this way, give me a shout, we can ride together
