2015 Street Bob First Bike
#11
Welcome to HDForum from Idaho (Wyoming right now).
I think that bike is an excellent choice.
I do not, however, think it'd be wise to start on.
It could end up being an INCREDIBLY expensive learning curve.
I know the feeling when you REALLY want something.... it just can't wait.
Just my opinion....
Pick up an inexpensive bike and ride until you're completely comfortable in traffic, slow speed turns, road hazards and how to avoid them, grandma in her buick...
The bike is the easy part.
Analogy...
Think of your attention/ focus as a $10 bill.
If you're spending $7 on manipulating your machine, that leaves you very little to spend on everything that could kill you.
Spending $0.50 or less on the machine is the ridiculous # I think of. Maybe less. Maybe more.
The idea is that the machine should be part of you. Controlling it should be almost second nature.
Does that make sense?
Again, its just my opinion.
If you say "F*** Bullast, Im doing what I want" post up pics when you get it.
I love my '14.
Take care.
