I took up riding bikes again over ten years ago while in beautiful back country Georgia. Southern Ga. as I am a heat person.
I chose a used Kawasaki ninja 250 and proceeded to re-learn all the ropes, including MSF course, and being re-tired due to disability, rode ALL the time, I mean ALL the time. Wrung the ninja 250's neck and she loved every second. Reconnecting to riding and the state of mind et. al. was just glorious. The only other hobby I took up was target shooting.
Now I'm in Southeast Florida and there is not much room for either. Being disabled limits my ride time to an hour or so and it takes that long to get to where it's wonderful to ride. Sold the ninja and have been neuter gender since (no ranges for rifles at all).
Well I got a call from a former comrades wife and did her a favor which meant the wprld to me. As I type there is a 2005 XL883l on its way to me, arrival time unknown due to free-thinking son. Just love that Lad.
Anyway, time for my first post.
If it's not obvious, I speak freely, scatterred and open to any questions one may have outside of only one subject which I can't see coming up.
I am 62 and will leave the rest, at least for now.
