Greetings to all! I've been picking up some great information from the forum for a while now and finally decided it was time to join.
Had a couple of small bikes back in my younger years and then went 25+ years without. My wife hated to ride and there was always something better to spend money on. I got back in the saddle again four years ago when I picked up an old Honda CX650C (fortunately I kept my motorcycle endorsement through all the years).
I forgot how much I loved to ride . . .
It didn't take me long to realize I don't have a teenager's body anymore and anything more than commuting to work was too much on the old Honda. So I went out and got my first Harley - a 2008 Sportster 1200.
That bike was great right up until my wife decided to hop on the back one Saturday afternoon. Suddenly she loved to ride, but of course wasn't too comfortable . . .
Now I really can't complain having moved up to a 2012 Road King just to satisfy the wife. The only issue I've had is having to buy Bluetooth headsets so she can still talk while we're riding . . .
