Welcome from Iowa,my Dad grew up in Atlanta.If you have no experience at all,check with community colleges for motorcycle classes or find a certified instructor to get proper training.Here in Iowa the community college has regular 15hr classes all through the summer.Good Luck my friend and enjoy the wind in your face,Be Safe.

the best advice I can give anyone is too remember you can do a Google search and find about anything you want to learn about motorcycles and riding..

Also take the MC safety class and go slow and easy till you have some miles under your belt.
