Hi I have lurked this forum for a while now. I figured it was time to start posting. I have been helped numerous times by looking up problems and or getting new ideas for my project.


My name is Chris Owens and I am an Air Traffic Controller at Oakland Air Route Traffic Control Center by trade. I have been married for more than 15 years and have a 2 year old little boy. As a hobby I build high end custom poker tables and other furniture. My works can be found on Facebook under Owens Custom Poker Tables and others. While I have been riding since I was a kid, starting on a Honda 110. I have just recently gotten into the hobby or working on my bike and I love it.


I bought my first Harley about 6 months ago. It is a 2013 Iron 883 I have since. Chopped, painted and caféd the bike out. It started as quick project inspired by a bike that Roland Sands did. It has completely gotten out of hand since. I am hoping to have the bike completed in the next month or so.


So this is what the bike looked like when I bought it. I guess I will start a build thread in the café section.
