hey now. my name is Troy, teeroy is my handle on several other forums. Just purchased my first HD this fall, a 2002 FLTHCUI Ultra Classic Shrine model from an old friend that works at a Harley dealership in Red Deer Alberta.
Bike has some miles on the chassis, but has been gone through from front to back including a brand new 95ci, 2 into 1 Hooker exhaust, and a bunch of other **** I know nothing about other than they make it haul *** for a "geezer glide". A friend of mine is a member here, signed up hoping to learn all I'm going to need to know to keep my bike maintained and repaired for the rest of it's life.
Got my first motorized 2 wheeler at the age of 5, a hand me down CT 90 that my cousin had thrashed. Bought my first road bike at the age of 16, and have owned a lot of different iron since then and have never been without a motorcycle. I've ridden plenty of Harleys, but wasn't until I hit my 40's that I really started to want to own one. I'm still a big fan of dual sport riding, I currently have an '06 450x Honda that is street plated.
Hope to put some good miles on this bike, looking forward to doing some touring with the wife along for the ride.
