I’m taking an evening bodywork repair / painting class. I’d like an inexpensive HD fuel tank to use for my project. Any HD model tank will do … scratches, bad paint & small dings are fine, just no major damage or dents. So if you have one for sale cheap please let me know.

What do you consider cheap?
I put a small ding in my '07 Ultra tank and had insurance replace it.
Never got around to listing it but I'll sell it for $100 plus shipping (Iowa).
New tank was $1100.

 

I have a complete set of tins off a deuce. Front/rear fenders and tank that would be perfect for your project. You could complete your project and probably sell these for decent money, make me an offer.
There is also a sporty tank in the picture.
Make an offer and I'll look into shipping.
