I plasti-dipped mine. just something to think about to save yourself some money/hassle

 

Thanks for the idea. Ive plasit dipped a few things on mine. But this is for a friend and he wants gloss black which isnt an option with plasti dip.

 

it sure is an option. you can get plasti dip glossifier. works great. used it on a metal cabinet i had in my garage, turned out much better than expected

 

I have a set for sale. powder coated gloss black lowers with fender mounts shaved off. complete rebuild on the fork internals. needs oil. I have an ad listed in the softail section or pm me if this may work for you and need more info. came off an 08 night train
