2009 sporty xl has mid controls and I'm doing fine with the mid except on long rides I would like to stretch. I have very short legs(5'1) I don't necessarily need the whole set up for forward -- I've been looking on eBay but mostly the whole set up. I was hoping Some one on here might have a pair laying around in the garage that they might want to sell?? Anyone?? Thanks-

 

I am in the same boat as you. I have an 09 Sporty 1200 low. It has the round HD crashbar on it and mids. I have the sundowner seat which makes me sit right on the edge of the tank. I also am looking for hiway pegs. I was at the HD stealer I mean dealer and saw an adjustable pair of pegs that mount on the crashbar. Being I am only 5'8" I did not want to be reaching for the pegs on the crashbar so these might work. They looked like the way to go for me but they are expensive as you might guess. You did not say whether you had a crash bar or just want to mount pegs where the forwards would mount. There are a bunch of after market hiway pegs out there so it should not be to hard to find yourself a set. JP Cycles is a good place to start.

 

You can try alscycleparts.com. I seen some on his web site for like 274.00. They were after market, but still a pretty good price I thought. I've bought quite a few things through them and they ship fast. Click on his Ebay items and scroll down. If you don't have paypal, call the 800 number and they'll fill your order then. hope this helps !

 

I have a set of brand new forward controls I took off my 2013 xl1200x 48 im trying to sell ill let them go for 350$ plus shipping. PayPal payment. Let me know. Posting on craigslist next weekend but I figured id try here first. My forwards have everything needed to convert from mids to fowards.
