Got any bearings that are shot? I have a few projects I've been doing that utilize bearing parts, mostly the races but also rollers sometimes.

I dig where you're coming from man.I never throw nothing away that I think I can make into something else.Or into a tool I can use to use to make it with.Even if it's something I could make into a tool to make the tool to...you get the point.Anyway,I normally don't let go of good fabbin' material like burnt bearing races or thread cutter shavings.I've got everything from chrome acorn nuts(not to use,just for lookin' at)to the little screw on cleats from my son's track shoes all sorted,categorized and stored in neat little bins.And I shi* you not,1 of them is full of worn(out)bearing parts.I'll see what I can round up for ya...thanks,Junker.

Nice thread, I also make things out of retired parts.... I don't use bearings and races often though, I bet I have quite a few in the shop I can donate.. I would be interested in securing somethig you make from them though =)


What size do you need the most, I bet I have everything from 3/8 bearings and races up to 3 inch?
