Default Buy or rent Motorcycle carrier receiver hitch type

I would like to buy or rent a hauler that can slip into the receiver hitch . Like the JOEY LIFT hitch. Or something similar to haul my Ultra with my Hummer H2.
Any suggestions? San Diego area. No trailers.
Thanks in advance.

At the risk of being one of those guys who responds to a post with negitivity I would want someone to tell me the same, actually they did come to think of it.

First ill apologize in advance if im telling you stuff you already know. I was looking for the same style carrier your describing and looked at 3 different manufactures and after all my research I realized those er good for a dirt bike at best for the following reasons:

1. Your hitch is designed to pull its weight forward not really carry weight.
2. at least the 3 I looked at the hitch connection was not snug causing the bike to tilt on turns (first few times it left a pretty good skid mark in meh shorts)
3. On the Jeep, I think the h2 is the same. the spare is on the back and had to be removed for the hitch to even be an option.

like I said, sorry if you are already aware of this info but Id feel like a douche if i seen a post (bike fell off Motorcycle carrier receiver hitch) and I didn't at least say something.

Thanks for the reply. I have thought of the items listed. On the hummer H2 the weight limit is higher and There is two additional hitch points on the bumper used for tow hooks.I was going to fabricate additional connections. so it would have three points of contact.
I have air ride so I can raise or lower the rear end. The Hummer H2 has a
Class three hitch similar to a class motorhome. The spare is inside on mine I know it is not a normal request.
But thanks for the imput

If I remember correctly a class 3 reciever is good for 500 lbs of hitch weight, thats out about 6". Your Harley is going to be almost 3' out, center-line which is about 2500 lbs of tongue weight. A class 5 hitch is good for 750 lbs. To be safe you should have 2 class 5 recievers on the back. That's a lot of weight on the back of that H2. If your lookin for a custom hitch and rack email me.
Thanks, Lyle
