Go to Walmart and pick up a 2 "D" cell Maglite. Take it home and cut the light head off with a bandsaw or hacksaw to the length ya want it. Then cut a piece of aluminum in a circle and JB weld it in the open end. There ya have a aluminum tube that is water proof and its only about 20 bucks and a little time.
