WTB: Progressive springs for 41mm forks
#11
well, the stock fork spring is just one piece. when you replace it with a lowering fork spring, there are a couple coils in the box too. that is so that the spring takes up the same distance within the fork, but shifts its position a little. kinda strange to describe, but it all fits. my hd forks had one long spring also. was replaced by a long spring, two mini springs, and a solid pvc piece.
30 weight may be a little heavy, but i doubt youll have any adverse effects. for me the progressive springs with 20 weight was exceptional. and again im 290 and aint nice to my bikes.
