Looking for any options available before I buy new. What do you have and how much $$$?

Either mufflers with fishtail or samson m-128 straight pipe slipon with fishtail.

 

I have a set of python predators slip on mufflers, built by vance and hines for sale if u want them. I paid 500.00 new for these. I have decided to go a different route with my exhaust. They have only been on the bike a couple thousand miles. I am asking 350.00 for them.

 

What year bike are they off of? V&H says the older ones wont fit the 09.

Are these fishtails

 

This is a misprint by the company that has never been corrected. They fit my 09 perfectly without any problem or modification. I called them prior to purchasing them. If you look in most catalogs such as J&P, Drag or others it will show that they fit an 09. There has been a lot of issues concerning what pipes will and will not fit an 09 since they came out and most of the manufacturers have taken longer than normal to update their own webpages and catalogs.

 

I have an 05 with Screamin Eagle slip ons. I bought fishtail end caps last year and I lost sound and power. I tried to re tune to compensate, with no avail. They are way too restrictive in my opinion. I love how they look but couldn't live with the power lose.
