Default '09 shocks

I have a buddy that has a pair of '09 stock air shocks, that he is not going to be using. How much are they worth ? He isn't a computer guy, but I could handle it for him to help you out, if you would like. Are they rated for more weight ?

yes you are correct that the 09's are not the same # as the 08 and earlier models...
With that said the 08's and earlier WILL bolt right up on the bike...I know this for a fact...
FFT...The earlier version's might even be a better shock as far as ride...The 09 streetglide shocks on my 09 were harsh and no matter how much air I put in them they were firm and harsh...Even the 13" shocks that came off a 09 Roadglide were harsh reguardless of how much air I ran...
So even though the numbers are different doesn't mean the product is any better then the originals...FFT

I am sure they will bolt up, lots of shocks will, heck any 12 or 13 inch shock should "bolt up" I am just looking for a used pair of 09 FLHX shocks..The 08 and previous yeard do not have near as much travel as the 09 shocks do.
As far as ride, my 09 stock FLTR rides very well, I just want to see it a little shorter in the back.

The 08 and previous FLHX/FLHRSI shocks bottom out easier and do not hold the same pressure as the 09 ones do(per the owners manual). The guts are completely sifferent, ask a mechanic or a parts man.

I am not here to enlighten you, educate you or argue with you in any way shape or form. I am a therapist, not a parts man or a wrench. I am just looking for a used set of 09 FLHX shocks, that is all.
