Default Transmission pulley locking tool

Need the trans pulley locking tool for a 2008 electraglide. Need to remove trans pulley to replace main tranny seal along with all other seals being replaced. Thanks for looking out..

When did they start putting pulleys on?

If you are talking about the tool that goes between the Clutch basket sprocket and the Compensator Sprocket I used a scrape metal piece of 1/4" x 2 x 6 " Flat bar, round off the ends .
Some people use a piece of wood, some Buy the tool from Ebay, Amazon, HD. Ect.

1/2" brass nipple wedged on an angle to the teeth.

I don’t know when they went to a drive belt. But I do know, I have a front pulley and a rear pulley not sprockets.

belts are for pants

but seriously I use an impact wrench.

I used a piece of wood one time and a piece of cut steel another..

I do not know.But here is a pic of my front pulley with belt goiny out to the rear pulley....

No, I am talking about the pulley behind the inner primary.
