I'd like to buy 2 or 4 of these inserts for a used HD Perforated leather jacket I purchased.

Many riders remove them from there jackets for comfort and/or looks.

I want to see if I like riding with them in?

Many companies make armor inserts, unless your married to the idea of HD branded units. You can pick up some very cool molecular armor (soft until impact then hardens to absorb energy). Check out revzilla.com. 3do is one of the molecular armor manufacturers. Forcefield is a good brand of standard armor also, but there are a million brands... Good luck.

If someone could provide the measurements of the HD armor piece, I'll take Mchad's advice and look at local shops for something to use. Especially would like to know thickness so that Imdon't get anything too bulky.
