Damn, someone here said he thought that would be the case. I thought so too, but then someone posted that wards said he wasn't going out. I guess that's what NDA's are all about huh. I'm hoping that the grills are available in black! (Look at me, not even released yet and I'm wanting more)

 

I have one simple question here:
If all the time "Love Jugs" said these fans wouldn't do a good enough job....... Why are they such a good value now?

Hopefully they have a version without the stupid skulls. And no that doesn't mean do flames instead.

 

Love Hugs had 3 fans on display today. They had one that looked so close to Ward's that I am convinced they own that product now. These are still in design phase. Yes, they have different grills. They had a black shiny (chrome skulls) and chrome (silver mesh grills). They are made out of aluminum instead of their traditional stainless steel. When I approached them, they said it was a lower end product for those who couldn't reach the $400 threshold. I told them that was a bad approach when you call your "product cheap" (exact words). That means inferior. I tried again to convince them to understand some people just don't want big obnoxious fans on their bike no matter how much better they are over smaller versions. I asked them point blank, are they at least as good as Ward's and Adam said "at least as good, but better". That was all I needed to hear.

They also have another version bigger than their Ward's look-alike, but smaller than the Gen 2. These looked like a good compromise, but to me the grills were not my taste. But I understand these are still going thru R&D. Sure all their new series will have finishes and grills for most everyone's taste. LG's understands marketing.

They stated they did not buy Ward's and these are their own products. You judge that.

 

You judge.... Switch, fan mount, tubes, fan pods 100% the same. Looks like LG can do their own shoot out now. Chrome version shown for better contrast. Not the switch, tubes, mount, and fan pods. LJ states the fans are better and properly sealed o we the older Wards
