I measured my cap and it is the smaller one, barely over an inch. Sorry.

FYI ........... Just for anyone helping out. I have one but the more I look it might not have the same radius on the outside edge. I know the pair I got from MG1 had a rounder radius than the one I have. I'll take a look and if I think it matches up I'll let you know. If it works you can send me an address ......

It doesn't have to be perfect. I'm just trying to cover up the now black plastic end so they're both chrome.

Beaux was kind enough to send me the cap as shown above (thank you again! I really do appreciate it).

BUT, the USPS has lost the package in transit and after a couple lengthy phone calls it doesn't look like they're going to do anything about it.

So... if anyone else has one of these, I'm still in need.

 

Well it appears opening a tracking investigation with USPS magically made the package Beaux so generously mailed me last week did the trick. They found the parcel and delivered it today.

Not an exact match, but it will do.
