passenger foot pegs on vrscse
I just bought an 06 vrscse, and was wondering why it has a two up seat and no rear pegs, it looks like they attach on the swing arm where there are two bolt holes on either side of the swing arm with bolts that are threaded into the swingarm but are cut off.Can you take those out with an EZ out andv replace with pegs?

RE: passenger foot pegs on vrscse
I bought the bike used, buy I was just thinking. do the pegs attach to the underside of the underneath of the upper part of the extruded frame? They could attach to the swing arm that would transfer all the suspension movement to the passenger. I havent picked up the bike yet because its been freezing here in the northeast, so I havent got a chance to look at it. The dealer said he was going to put pegs on it, but the sales guy pointed to those for cut off bolt on the swing arm, which look like they were put in and cut by the factory, but I cant believe the pegs would be attached to the swing arm.

The passenger mounts attach to the underside of the frame on the '06 and later StreetRod and the NightRod, along with all of the '07s. Your passenger will actually feel the bumps very little. I have asked specifically about this and was told that she cannot even feel them unless she's thinking about it.
The frame mounts will be higher and farther back, so I think the swingarm mounts would be more comfortable.
