Thanks for letting the cat out the bag. I'm sure they love it.

I rented a Muscle last year. I would definitely need some reduced reach bars before I could judge it on comfort. The stock bars were absolutely killing my back. I also felt like it needed a 6th gear too. Great motor though. Pulled like a freight train from top to bottom.

I'm 6'2 and 250lbs and the VRSCSE is very comfortable for me. Granted I don't ride more than a few hundred miles in a day, but very comfortable and a total blast to ride.

As far as comfort is concerned, the V-Rod is a good day bike. Don't compare it to an Electra-Glide for comfort, but if you have friends with a Ducati or a ZX10 or any sport bike, ask them to go on a 300 mile round trip some Saturday. They will more than likely decline.

The V-Rod is a damn fine and very unique machine. The only people who "bash" it are the ones who don't own one.
So true!! And an excellent analysis.

I've had my 09 VRSCAW twice - I traded it in 2010 for a 2010 Road King -
18 months of ownership of that "Road King" was enough for me - I started looking for another bike - I missed the VRod almost immediatedly after I traded it in. I looked at a Muscle but it did not fit me the way my AW did. I went back to the orginal dealer and "low and behold" my original 09 VRod was still at the dealer that I traded it in at.....

I got them to let me test ride my old bike again - it had 10,200 miles on it when I traded it and still had 10,200 when I tested it. I had it out for about 3 hours - and traded the RK on the spot.....They wanted the RK and I wanted my old VRod so it was a "Win/Win" situation. I had a huge credit
due from the trade - so it was a great deal.

Anyway - I really missed the power speed and unique look of the VRod
IMO there is not another bike on the road like it....certainly not in the HD line.

Riding is a lot of fun once again.

I'm happy for you, but I've had many different bikes and the only one that was less comfortable was a Sportster. But for the first 2 or 3 hundred miles of a ride, the VROD was by far the most fun. If my FLD could run like a VROD I'd be a happy(and comfortablr)rider!

I'm glad it's comfortable for you guys, but for me it was not. Otherwise, I miss having one.
