I'm looking to ride my V-Rod this winter in So Cal as a commuter and want to cut the wind. I don't like the factory original fairing and like the looks of the Road Rod, but not the cost. Does anyone have experience with putting a batwing fairing on their V-Rod?

Get on over to www1130cc.com "Bagger Section"

 

go to v-mod.com they have a complete setup ready to install with the memphis shades batwing.

 

Also go to 1130cc forum. Look at the bagger thread. Do a search lots of ideas. Their is a company called slipstreamer that makes a ss10 or ss20 that fits a VROD Last seen them advertized on Amazon.

The forum overall is very good and helpful. However the section is very limited for the Vrod since there is such a huge forum at 1130cc.com That's where the experts are on the Vrod.

 

You could always do like I did on my NRS and go with something a little smaller like the Bob Dron RK fairing. Did a decent job of cutting the wind and it looks pretty good IMO.

 

They have been putting fairings on the from day one they look best with RG faring.
memphis shades stuff leave a lot to be desired from the ones I have seen.
Almost bought one of these it sold before I made up my mind
