Default Tall riders on VRSC

I'm 6'2" with 34" inseam weighing 165lbs
I'm thinkin of adding another bike (specifically a VRSC to go with my dyna)

Now what would be an ideal VRSC for a tall rider like me?

I'm most inclined in buying a used VROD coz its gonna be my 2nd bike.

After reading many online blogs I came to conclusion that I dont wanna buy a 2007 VROD as it was the slowest and also the heaviest ever manufactured.

Can someone pls chip in which year model would be a good buy for a used VRSC and where to look for other than ebay & local CL.

I din't know what would be good but I think a Street Rod would be an uncomfortable fit for you. The center pegs are very high and the distance from the pegs to the seat is short.

I'm 6/1 and I ride an 11 Dx. I really like the layout for me. It has forward controls so nothing much different than the dyna. The bars are more of a drag style but I like them. I would suggest a 08 or newer as these would be an easy change from the dyna. Should be able to get them pretty cheap if the weather stays cool.

the 1130cc forums are the main source for the vrod of all flavors.

08 and newer gives you the 5 gallon tank, brembo brakes, abs option, and the 1250cc engine. The AW has you sitting in a more upright position. The muscle has the best lean angle and many like the looks, but accessories are harder to find and the stock bars force ya to lean forward more. Many change the bars out for a more comfortable riding position.

I thought Street Rod had heigher seat height and maximum ground clearance.
Wouldnt this help a tall rider?
Also can I move the pegs of a street rod from middle to forward controls?

I'm same height and inseam and the mid controls felt cramped for me. The AW that I have is nice overall and comfortable. I have thought of putting the engine guards on and riding pegs to fully stretch out for longer trips.
