Default 2006 VRSCA vs 2007 VRSCAW

Greetings all, I am faced with this decision and not sure which rod to choose. I believe the 06 handles better due to the 180 tire vs the 240, but the 240 tire does look awesome - please help.

It depends on what you're looking for, as I assume you already realize. You are correct with your two points. The only other benefit to the '07 is 5 gallons of gas.

Aftermarket 5 gallon tanks are already available with more on the way.

I prefer my '06 A to any of the '07s.

The '07 is also 30-40 lbs heavier than the '06. I do not see any increase in power for '07 either. So this suggests that the 2006 would not only handle better with the thinner tire but is also a little quicker. That is why I bought that 2006 over the 2007.
