I get to work on a lot of Harleys and I can get my head around what mileage an Evo or TC motor can do...but I have no idea how long V-Rods last....many of the ones around here get thrashed to within an inch of their lives and yet I have never heard of one going crook, or even doing anything other than run perfectly.

So....how many miles have your V-Rods done and has any one of them actually developed a mechanical fault of any kind?

 

if you go over to the 1130cc forum and search mileage you will see some huge numbers... on person has well over 100,000 mile without a motor rebuild... check it out... i only got 31,000 + and only have had problems with accessories nothing with the motor or tranny.
