I have a new DX with the Denim/Vivid paint. The guy that detailed my bike said you can use Harley Gloss on the Denim surfaces. Have any of you guys tried using this product on your paint? I looked it up in the owner's manual as well and that's what it says. It also says you can use a Windex type glass cleaner and dish soap on the paint. Also says no was or polish of any kind on the Denim. Thanks in advance.

I have not had personal experience with Harley's Denim, but have talked to some people with it, and have some experience with that style of finish. Follow the instructions that Harley has given. Stay away from ammonia containing products. Dish soap works great. Wax and most polishes leave a residue on the Demin paints that once dry is realistically impossible to remove.
