Well, just wanted to introduce myself here. I don't have any pictures yet, so don't stone me. I just came back from the dealership where I bought my first Vrod. I've been looking at them for 2+ years, and finally did it. This weekend I decided to buy a new 06 VRSCSE2...Screaming Eagle. Man what a beautiful bike. I am in awe and amazement at how beautiful the bike is. I'll post pics when I pick it up, they said maybe Wednesday hopefully... It's supposed to be set up and go through prep tommorrow. The Vrod mechanic has been in Sturgis.

Does anyone know the specs as far as HP on these machines? I see the TQ ratings in the brochure, but no HP ratings. Also, does anyone know how many of these Screaming Eagle's were made for 2006?

What color combo??? I tried so long to find the orange/black one, but all I could ever find was the red/charcoal one.

 

Actually, it's the Electric Orange and Black!!! Only one the dealer had...obviously..They got a red/charcoal late last fall, and then just got this orange/black in June. It's is freakin sweet looking. I'm extremely excited to pick it up. What kind of prices are you guys paying for these SE's. I know some guys say HD dropped the SE price for 07, but I dispute that by saying that they aren't CVO bikes, therefore, not the specially built custom bikes loaded up with chrome, etc.

 

I was looking at these on Ebay, and all they had also was the Red/Charcoal. I think that they must have come out with the red combo earlier in the model year and then the orange ones. Does anyone know how many they made of certain colors. Just from looking in the market, it appears that the orange/black one is limited.
