Default Exhaust Question

My Dad is an old timer with with a 2008 night rod special. He is short and the front exhaust pipe keeps burning his pants and leg. If anyone knows a good set of pipes that don't wrap around the front jug like the stock one besides bubs please let me know thanks. It's kind of hard when he gets a leg burn with diabetes and after 58 years of riding I don't want to try to stop him.

Instead of trying to change pipes, and then all the related cost of fuelers and dyno's. Why not change his position. There are Reduced reach pegs and also floorboard option out there to move his leg away from the exhaust. I have a set of floorboards from drag specialties that work great

Rienhart 2 into 2 got them on mine and never had a problem, and they look bad ***. Let me know if you need a pic.

I am 5' 5" and owned a VRSCDX with VH 2 into 1 exhaust ... I put the reduced reach pegs and seat on the bike ... Made big difference for me! Hope this helps... A good site is www.v-mod.com ... Good Luck!
