Default O2 sensors???

My buddy just bought a 2002 V-Rod and is wanting to change the pipes. He called me this AM and asked if there were any o2 sensors on it. The new V&H pipes have a bung for them but he says there doesn't appear to be any on the bike.
Thanks in advance

The 02 Vrods didnt have o2 sensors. unless he is going to install one of the Auto tuning fuel management systems he can just plug them. If he is changing pipes from stock he should add a tuneable fuel management system like the PC III or the pot style fuel adders that adjust the fuel flow to the injectors to compensate for the lean emissions map factory setup. Lots of options when you change pipes and add high flow air cleaners like K&N or Amsoil.

Correct the 2002 bike does not have O2 sensors. You can simply plug the bungs. They are 18MM X 1.5 thread. The bungs are handy if you plan to go to a wideband tuning system
