The stock 08s are more powerfull and much quicker than the stock 06 models. The slowest bike ever built by HD is the 06 Night Rod.

&nbsp\\;Hi guys,
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;I'm curious, are the the 08 1250's the same motor that is in my 06 SE2 ? Or is just the displacement the same. The H.P. and torque numbers seem to be the same, although H.D. was very vague listing numbers on the SE2. I haven't seen much on the topic other than a post I read that someone thought the SE2 had a slightly hotter cam.

No, the 1250s on the 08s and 09 are the same as in the SE2 and the VRSCX from 07, except they changed a gasket in 08.

The 1250 in the first year SEs, 2005, were ported and polished and made more power.

Why? They only walk away AFTER they pay up.
