I posted the question to see what kind of miles V rod owners were doing&nbsp\\;and then ask&nbsp\\;what the impresions of the owners&nbsp\\;were of there rides.&nbsp\\; I am seriously looking on buying a V rod and will be&nbsp\\;looking at two tomorrow, Planning on it being&nbsp\\;an alternate&nbsp\\;mode of transportation for work and such next too my silverado with a&nbsp\\;5.3.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Any recomended mods? &nbsp\\;planning on sport shield and&nbsp\\; saddle bags

17864 miles, As far as mods it depends on what year. I added ricks tank (160-180 miles to a tank), powerline style exhaust, PCIII, PCIII LCD, semi topless, amsoil air filter, Slipper clutch, floorboards, saddlebags, memphis shades windshield

 

5,900. I bought it new in april of 07.(VRSCR)

All your questions can be answered on the above sites or here on this one. You can do anything with a V-rod from bobber to bagger. They are excellent machines. Buzz Kanter, the EIC at American Iron Magazine is building a Street Rod sport bike just to see how much performance you can get out of a V-rod.

 

About 150, just picked up the 08 DX!

 

8800 or so, bought it a year ago with 4000 miles on it.

 

I finally broke 19K. 19,044. Went riding with my kid today. His first 100 mile ride on the GL500 restoration.
